Boards, Cards and Comments
To put it simply, your home dashboard consists of all the boards that you create and those boards that have been shared with you. Boards cards. Cards contain comments.
The graphic below illustrates the hierarchy:
Add Images, Text and Color
Download the browser extension to save images from any webpages.
You can drag and drop to upload multiple images at a time.
If you want to add text that will be visible on your board, create a text card.
If you want to add text that is specific to an image or color, add a comment.
Create your color palette using Hex code, RGB code or Pantone TCX library.
Organizing Your Board
Wanna rearrange cards on your board? Just drag and drop to move cards around. Navigate the canvas view through panning, scrolling and zooming.
Uploaded the wrong image or don't like the color anymore? Simply remove it.
Collaborating With Your Team
Did you know that you can have a design review meeting with your teammate / client and be able to edit simultaneously together on Make the Dot?
Want to share a board with someone but they don't have a Make the Dot account (yet)? Simply turn on public access and share the link with them.
Want someone to give you comments on your board? Invite them as an editor!
Leave comments for your teammates to let them know about your thoughts on their idea or collection
