Installing Save to Make the Dot

Saving inspiration as you browse online

There are several ways to save images to your boards:


Method 1: Click the "Save" button that appears on top of images

Creating new boards

To create a new board from your extension, simply select the board list and "Create Board".

Sleep Mode

When you're not actively doing research, you can turn off the save button that shows up on top of images. Simply toggle the Sleep Mode button on your side panel.

When you hide the save button, the extension will still be installed. To turn the save button back on, simply click on the extension icon from the extension menu at the top of your browser to open the side panel again.

Common Questions

I use a Chromium-based browser. Can I install Save to Make the Dot to save images to my boards?

Yes! Chromium browsers (such as Brave and Vivaldi) can run Chrome extensions, so Save to Make the Dot and most other Chrome extensions should be compatible.
