What browser and operating system can I use with Make the Dot?

Operating System Requirements


Make the Dot is primarily browser-based software which means it can be run on all full desktop operating systems, such as MacOS, Windows and Linux.

The minimum operating system (OS) requirements are:

  • Windows 8.1 or later

  • Apple macOS 11 or later

  • Any Linux OS that supports the browsers mentioned above

  • Any Chrome OS that supports the browsers mentioned above

Browser Requirements

The minimum browser requirements are :-

  • Chrome 72 or later

  • Firefox 78 or later

  • Safari 14.1 or later

  • Microsoft Edge 79 or later

Supported Devices

We support all major desktops and specific versions of iPads, including iPad Air and iPad Pro 11' and 13". We do not support iPad Mini.
